That cable you linked is for a card that wants an 8-pin connector from a 6-pin power supply (which IMNSHO is quite pointless, since its just extra ground lines, and a 6-pin plug will have no problems fitting in an 8-pin port). its actually not just extra gounds.Nov 17, 2010
