There exists one cable (FTDI USB to USB Null Modem Cable) which appears as USBA-to-USBA connection, but this is not a direct link. Physically, this cable is two USB-to-RS232 cables, cross-connected by their serial ends: USB-RS232-CROSS-RS232-USB.
