If your
Raspberry Pi is
not connecting to WiFi or Ethernet, you need to check your
WiFi router if
the internet is working or
not. If
the internet is
not working, try resetting
the WiFi router or
the modem to resolve
the issue.

Just remember to disconnect Ethernet when the Pi is connected wirelessly! To connect to your router, right-click the grayed-out wireless networking icon in the right corner of the panel. Select the option to Turn on Wi-Fi, then select the desired network from the menu.Dec 16, 2019

To scan for wireless networks, use the command sudo iwlist wlan0 scan . This will list all available wireless networks, along with other useful information. Look out for: 'ESSID:"testing"' is the name of the wireless network.
